Body MRI Fellowship

Body MRI Fellowship

The Fellowship at DHMC is a year-long program dedicated to the study of a comprehensive range of all aspects of MRI, to include abdominal (including MR enterography, MRI hepatic iron quantification, hepatic HCC screening, and staging using LIRAD critieria), pelvic (colorectal cancer staging, multiparametric prostate, gynecologic malignancies, dynamic pelvic floor imaging), cardiac (gated wall motion studies), neurologic, and musculoskeletal imaging. The successful fellow gains experience in all aspects of MRI imaging, not just of the abdomen and pelvis. The fellowship is flexible with opportunities for tailoring the program to meet the interests and goals of the individual fellows.

Our MRI facilities consist of 5 MRI scanners: 3 x 1.5T and 2 x 3T magnets.

Candidates who have completed our program have been very successful finding positions in their areas of interest. Fellows have gone on to pursue both academic and private practice opportunities.
