Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship

Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship

The UCLA Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine is pleased to offer a fellowship in regional anesthesia. Our fellowship offers an opportunity to gain practical guidance in peri-operative pain management and regional anesthetic techniques.

There is both a clinical and academic component, as well as areas of scholarly activity. Applicants will gain mastery of ultrasound guidance in peripheral blockade, peripheral nerve catheter techniques, thoracic epidurals, and acute pain service management skills. In addition, our fellows have the unique opportunity to work as attending staff physicians for 1-2 days/ week, with the added benefit of additional income if needed. In addition, fellows will have the opportunity to participate in resident supervision and didactic education. Upon completion, our fellows are experts in regional anesthesia and will further their careers in either an academic or private practice setting.
