Neuro-Anesthesiology Fellowship

The Division of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center is excited to offer a Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship. Our fellow will work in the OR and the Neurointerventional Suite, participating in elective as well as emergency cases, both pediatric and adult. In addition, the fellow will spend one month learning Intraoperative Neurointerventional Monitoring. An elective month in Neurocritical Care or Neuroradiology is offered. The fellow will attend Anesthesiology and selected Neurosurgery and Neurology Grand Rounds. In addition, the fellow will attend monthly interdisciplinary Intra-Arterial Stroke management meetings. The fellow will plan and lead weekly Journal Club for residents rotating in Neuroanesthesia, develop and conduct a research project and attend 2 national level Neuroanesthesia/Neurocritical care meetings.
