Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic (HPB) Surgery Research Fellowship

The position is a 1 or 2-year fellowship in clinical research in the section of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, at Keck School of Medicine of USC. The fellow can expect to gain significant experience in research methodology, writing, & outcomes research. Research fellows will work under the mentorship of Drs. Selby and Sheikh in the Department of Surgery and with an established group of HPB surgeons with a track record for academic productivity.

Fellows will participate in the educational activities of the department. Resources and benefits include; Personalized mentorship, access to large databases, statistical support, administrative support, and a salary commensurate with medical experience.

Prerequisites:

Eligible candidates must hold an MD/DO degree with previous research experience. Applicants must have completed 2-3 years of an accredited general surgery residency.
